Wedding | A Classic & Elegant Loose Mansion Wedding
I had to convince myself not to title this post “The Elegance of Light” because while that definitely defines my approach to this wedding day, it sounds like poorly written art theory and not nearly as SEO friendly as what’s above. Since their engagement session how I capture Danthea and Michael has not really been about their interactions at all, as they require very little posing. Most of what I do is watch how the light plays across their figures. Open to the more fleeting and experimental images I capture, I chased light throughout every aspect of their wedding day making it incredibly fun to shoot.
There was a timelessness to this wedding that I still can’t quite pin point, an overall elegance that is both classic and modern. If there was a single object that defined the air of Danthea and Michael’s wedding day it would be Danthea’s veil. Simple, cathedral length, slightly tapered, and held in place by a hair-comb of silk flowers and pearls, it’s organic movement framed this couple’s natural elegance perfectly.
