Couples | A Modern, Urban Engagement with Rustic Charm

I had been looking forward to this engagement session for awhile. Melanie works in vintage resale and Geoffrey works for the railroad, so naturally The Westbottoms was the perfect setting for this pair. Originally, hoping to shoot their engagements in Colorado, they ended up opting to stay close to home but The Campground’s rustic setting ended up bringing a bit of that outdoor charm to their images regardless.

I can’t say enough good things about this shoot. These guys were so easy and fun to work with. We started at The Campground, wandered around the warehouses, and ended up stopping at The Ship for a quick drink and dessert. I loved how Melanie obviously appreciated my more serious, wide shots, and Geoffrey brought the silliness and goofiness that every engagement shoot should include. I am so pumped to shoot their at home wedding this fall in gorgeous Valentine.
