Wedding | A Woodland Celtic Celebration with Fairytale Whimsy

It was almost exactly a year ago that I was sending Samantha photographer recommendations. I was a little bit out of budget so I gathered some options and we parted ways. A few months later she was still without a photographer and asked her friend Anna for recommendations. Turns out Anna was a former college classmate of mine, and decided to send her my website. Samantha decided to take the plunge and booked me shortly thereafter. Oh my my my am I ever glad she did!

Samantha and Brock teach abroad in Myanmar for most of the year, and over the course of their first year of marriage they will get married three times in three different countries. I was fortunate enough to get to capture wedding number two, right here in Missouri. Held at the whimsical and wooded Paradise Park, we had so much fun exploring the woods, streams and rustic structures that make up this gorgeous secluded venue.

I’m generally not the fairy tale wedding type, but this fairy tale is one I could get behind. With Celtic traditions, a hand tying, a gorgeous custom gown, and so many potted plants I seriously cannot get over the beauty of their wedding day. I wish them all the best at their next and final wedding in Canada!
