Wedding | An Eclectic Vintage Wedding at The Gatsby on Oak

Obviously, I had to share Jessi & David’s wedding! There’s was the first wedding I’d shot for close friends in a really long time, with the last having been my very first wedding ever. I’ve worked with many others I’ve known personally, but I see these guys frequently. Jessi was even a witness at my own wedding, and is who inspired me to learn to ice skate. Naturally, the entire day had to be supported by a really good second shooter so I could partially partake in the festivities myself, which I did. It took me two days to adequately recover.

The wedding day itself was exactly as I’d expected; joyous, laid back, and a little chaotic, with an eclectic vintage flair to their décor. They threw most traditions out the window with the exception of their insanely complex, choreographed first dance. Start to finish, Jessi & David’s wedding was such a joy to capture!
