Couples | An Urban, Editorial Engagement with Vintage Flair

liv & Peter’s engagement was a beautiful culmination of mood,vintage charm, and editorial posing. From liv’s 1970s mini dresses to the red washed wall’s of Green Lady Lougne, these guys were an absolute vibe. together we created a gallery that really brought forth the sultry, moody look these two sought after.

My favorite aspect of this shoot was posing them around a concrete pillar in direct sun. They were very comfortable in front of the camera; therefore, I played and posed quite a bit more than usual. while my general approach stylisticly is to shoot wide and capture a narrative, those images in particular were more about expression and experimentation in cropping. this approach is something I hope to explore more in my work moving forward.

needless to say I am super stoked for liv and peter’s wedding, which is right around the corner!
