Inspiration | Romantic Red Wedding
These last few weeks have been a wild ride! I quit my day job to make photography my full time gig, booked so many weddings (but there's always room for more, so hit me up y'all!), and Michael and I are buying our first home together. It's a wonderfully old Kansas City shirtwaist in the Historic Northeast. What's more, it has a third story studio space that I can work from, so I'll have my own natural light studio. Everything is a slow and tedious process, but last May when I launched this website I had no idea I would've come so far in less than a year. I'm so excited to start this new chapter personally, professionally, and artistically.
January was a very slow month for me, so I focused on domestic matters and personal projects. One of which, was this shoot. Hosted by the talented wedding photographer, Ashley Ice, the Romantic Red Wedding Styled Shoot was an awesome way to get geared up for spring weddings, network with other professionals, and make new friends. This shoot is of course, not to be confused with Game of Thrones' Red Wedding, which let's be honest, would've been styled shoot gold. Ya know, sans the murderous rampage. Regardless, I had an absolute blast and feel totally regenerated and ready for what these next few months bring!
