Destination | A St Louis Engagement in Stunning Forest Park

I had just been bragging to a client the other day that I felt so lucky this year because I had yet to shoot in freezing cold weather. All of my weddings and lifestyle shoots had been indoors, and I’d be fortunate enough to have had nice weather for all of my couples shoots. So naturally the engagement I traveled 3+ hours to photograph was absolutely freezing.

You all should applaud Lindsay and Greg’s dedication to getting these photos because O.M.G it was cold one, and they were the ones lacking coats. They were so much fun to work with though; very easy to photograph and up for whatever weird instruction I through out. I’m elated to shoot their wedding later this year, especially after getting to finally meet them in person after several months of planning. They also choose an insanely beautiful location. St Louis peeps will recognize this as the very well known Forest Park, but I’d never heard of it prior to scheduling this shoot. I was super excited about it, particularly The Jewel Box which just might be the most interesting conservatory I’ve ever seen. Still crying we couldn’t go inside though….
