Inspiration | Rustic, Boho Wedding Inspiration at Missouri Town 1855
Several weeks ago Jackson County was seeking photographers for two styled wedding shoots at historic properties. I threw my name into the hat not expecting much, since I tend to be a bit out of the box style wise. Low and behold I was one for the four photographers selected. After selection I was asked if I had a property I preferred to shoot. I had never heard of, let alone visited, either site but a large white colonial style home sealed the deal in one properties favor.
Missouri Town 1855 is the most gorgeous hidden gem of a wedding venue. The location has scenic views, historic structures, gorgeous lighting opts, charming reenactments, and all for a steal of a price. I instantly fell in love with the place as I was given the initial tour, and only wish I could’ve spent more time shooting. I don’t think there has ever been a location that has appealed to my aesthetic in so many ways as this space. I really could’ve wandered around all day.
