Inspiration | An Emerald & Yellow, Spring Editorial Featuring Gorgeous Fine Jewels
Late last January, Rosemary from Rustic Elegance approached me about a St Patrick’s themed shoot at The Emerald. ‘Ha,’ I thought. I get it. I’ve done emerald shoots before, and my one stipulation for shooting this one was that it couldn’t be cheesy. That being said, I trusted Rosemary’s inclination and told her to count me in.
Naturally, I told Rosemary to contact Morgan at Hooch and Honey to style the editorial and choose our remaining team. Morgan is basically the queen of elegant and creative design, and is constantly pushing boundaries. Morgan, Rosemary, and I are basically a match made in heaven when it comes to complimentary aesthetics. What emerged this time around was a paired down version of our usually quite involved styled shoots. Taking advantage of the intimate feel of the venue the team created this elegant spring editorial, careful not too fill up too much space. This allowed me to play off the soft candlelight and moody natural light the space is known for. Bringing it all together was a collection of incredible fine jewelry courtesy of Diamonds Direct.
