Wedding | An Elegant Affaire at Deer Ridge Estate

Caroline & Jordan won me over when they said my work reminded them of Terrance Malick. Badlands is one of my favorite films of all time, and I’ve loved Malick’s work since I stumbled into a showing of the Tree of Life my sophomore year of college. While I completely disagree with the comparison (my work is but a speck of sand compared to his use of movement and mundanity), the fact this name was brought up in conversation told me two things 1) they knew what they were looking for in photography, and 2) they had really, really good taste.

Over the course of the last year I got to know Caroline & Jordan, and let me tell you, they’re really freaking cool. In true form their wedding day reflected their laid back elegant style and warm demeanor. Warm neutrals, candle light, and champagne dresses encompassed the effortlessly elegant atmosphere of their gorgeous spring wedding.
