Inspiration | A Pre-Raphaelite Inspired Collaboration

2021 was such a whirlwind of editorials and weddings I never really got the chance to formally share my more creative shoots. I’m pretty tight lipped about images for THINE before publication, but once the magazine launches sometimes beautiful images that didn’t get chosen for print fall into obscurity. Since I’ll be working with the beautiful Leslie Hacker again tomorrow I thought it would be a good time to share a recent collaboration I shot with her and Ellipsis Design for Issue 03 of THINE.

Inspired by the whimsical, dreamlike feel of Pre-Raphaelite paintings we created this calligraphy heavy styled shoot. Working with the unbelievably creative Thorne Floral , my idea for a dresser floral installation was born. The dresser was one that I had originally owner as a teenager (passed down from my aunt), and so I was excited for the opportunity to bring it to life one last time before it went to live it’s new life as a wedding rental item. The floral installation was made complete with a bird nest and blooms sprouting from the drawers. It was truly a painting come to life.
